Prototype： an approximation of the product along one or more dimensions of interest（根据多方面兴趣得到的近似品）

Prototyping is the process of developing an approximation of the product

Alpha prototypes： used to assess whether the product works as intended

Beta prototypes: used to assess reliability and to identify remaining bugs

Pre-production prototypes(试产原型): These are the first products produced by the entire production process
